Legume Kitchen and Bar Opens in Downtown Fredericksburg

Legume Kitchen and Bar is open at 715 Caroline St. downtown Fredericksburg.

The vegetarian and vegan focused restaurant is a collaboration between Chef Raymond Renault of La Petite Auberge, and Justin Cunningham, formerly of his own Fizzlebottom’s Café, then Executive Chef of Spencer Devon Brewery.

A soft opening with seating by reservation only is planned for Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016. Regular hours begin Thursday, Sept. 1. The grand opening and ribbon cutting will be held on Friday, Sept. 2.

The menu features plant-based and pescatarian cuisine, focused on locally sourced, organic and seasonal ingredients. The bar features craft cocktails, beers on tap, and sustainably produced wines.

Hours are:
11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday
11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday
10 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday Brunch
Closed Monday
