Skankin’ at the fairgrounds

Some of the biggest names in ska will be playing at the 2017 SuperNova International Ska Festival at the Fredericksburg Fairgrounds Memorial Day weekend.

Derrick Morgan from Jamaica, The Aggrolites from Los Angeles, The Skints from London, The Pietasters and The Toasters are among the 30 bands playing the show on May 27 and 28.

The gates for the all-ages show open at noon both days, and the show will end at 11:30 each night. Tickets are $40 per day.

Navarro and The Traitors, Hub City Stompers, Eastern Standard Time, Murphy’s Kids, The Snails, Sammy Kay, The Freecoasters, Party Like It’s, Stacked Like Pancakes, The Captivators, The Scotch Bonnets, Backyard Superheroes, Rude King, The Ladrones, High School Football Heroes, The Fuss, The Bishops, Behind Deadlines, Thirteen Towers, El Grande, Circle City Deacons, The Upstarters and Revolucion Oi.
