The festivities continue on July 20th, with the Band of Oz a Carolina Beach Band. The Band of Oz is one of the most successful groups in the Southeast, featuring a full horn section and a dynamic eight-member group. Fort Germanna & Old House Vineyards History & Wine Trolley Tour

Friday, July 21 3-7 pm

Meet at the Depot, 111 South Commerce St

We will begin at the Foundation, which maintains a genealogical reference library, historical archive, exhibits and a database all dedicated to the 1714, 1717, 1730s and 1740s immigrants.

The tour will then travel across Germanna Highway to the active archaeological site known as the Enchanted Castle (Fort Germanna Site). Foundation Archaeologists will be on hand to show and explain current excavations as they search for the remains of the 1714 Fort walls. You can watch the excavations and even search the screens as the archaeologists recover artifacts from the different time periods.

Following the archaeological tour, we will head to Old House Vineyards & Distillery for a private tour and wine tasting.

In this action crime thriller directed by Simon West, a group of dangerous inmates are transferred to a new super-maximum security facility. Parolee Cameron Poe hitches a ride on their Con Air transport flight only to find himself caught up in a mid-air hijacking masterminded by Cyrus “The Virus” Grissom. U.S. Marshal Vince Larkin must prevent the takeover and keep his overzealous superiors from blowing up the aircraft.

CulpeperRocks Workshop at the Farmers Market

Join us at the Culpeper Downtown Farmers Market. CulpeperRocks will have a booth set up and a signup sheet with 4 different sign up times available. Sign-ups will be offered on a first come, first serve basis with room for 10 painters in each group. Each person will receive two rocks to paint and all supplies will be available for use. Come out and support your community and help to spread joy. Rock on.
