Join us for a candlelight tour of Fairview Cemetery. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Fairview cemetery dates back to 1855. Also known as Citizens’ Cemetery and Antioch Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery includes a contributing mid-19th-century municipal cemetery, an early-20th-century African-American cemetery, a monument to Confederate dead (1881), an enclosure wall, and a caretaker’s lodge. Come listen to the stories of Culpeper’s most notable and oldest burials.

CulpeperRocks Workshop at the Farmers Market

Join us for this free event at the Culpeper Downtown Farmers market. CulpeperRocks will have a booth set up and a signup sheet with 4 different sign up times available. Sign-ups will be offered on a first come, first serve basis with room for 10 painters in each group. Groups will run on the hour starting at 8am and last group will take place at 11am. Each person will receive two rocks to paint and all supplies will be available for use. Each painting session will be 45 minutes long. Come out and support your community and help to spread joy.
