House broken into — Fredericksburg Police Report

From Fredericksburg Police Department

Burglary/ Breaking and Entering:

1800 block Idlewild Boulevard, 2/26, 3:45 p.m. A homeowner returning to his residence reported finding the rear sliding glass door shattered. Upon entering his residence, he discovered an unknown person had gone through several rooms. Patrol officers and a detective responded to investigate. No persons were located inside. An item was found outside of the residence that the homeowner confirmed was his. No other items are believed to be missing at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Vandalism of Motor Vehicle:

1300 block Sophia Street, 2/26, 1:15 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person punctured one of her vehicle’s tires. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Larceny – Theft from Motor Vehicle:

1100 block Charles Street, 2/26, 11:00 p.m. A group of friends reported that they left their vehicle unlocked and went for a walk. When they returned to the vehicle, they discovered that their two laptop computers, a backpack, and a jacket were gone. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
