Two assaults reported – Fredericksburg Police Report

Burglary/ Breaking and Entering:
Sunoco, 2307 Jefferson Davis Highway, 4/6, 6:30 a.m. An employee discovered that an unknown person forced entry into the store by shattering a window. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register. The investigation is ongoing.
Assault:
Nader’s Grocery, 508 Caroline Street, 4/8, 6:15 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown white male was causing a disturbance in the store. When the employee asked the male to leave, the male spit on him before leaving. The suspect is described as wearing a red shirt and black hat. The investigation is ongoing.
Aladin Mediterranean Bar & Grill, 2052 Plank Road, 4/8, 1:30 a.m. A citizen reported that an unknown black male approached him at the bar and physically assaulted him. The suspect left the establishment in an unknown direction. The investigation is ongoing.
Bourbon Room, 216 William Street, 4/7, 2:00 a.m. A citizen reported that an unknown white male approached him and physically assaulted him. The citizen was transferred by EMS to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening medical treatment. The investigation is ongoing.
Larceny:
200 block Ivanhoe Court, 4/7, 2:00 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole his wallet and checkbook from his unsecured vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
500 block Princess Anne Street, 3/23, 5:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole her iPad that was left unsecured. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Larceny – Theft from Building:
2000 block Cowan Boulevard, 4/6, 3:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole clothes, suitcases, and books from his unsecured storage locker. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Larceny- Theft from a Motor Vehicle:
1900 block Idlewild Boulevard, 4/8, 11:30 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole her wallet from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
1000 block West Kensington Circle, 4/7, 12:30 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person stole a license plate from his vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Vandalism of Motor Vehicle:
1200 block Jefferson Davis Highway, 4/8, 3:30 p.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person shattered her vehicle’s windshield. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
Vandalism:
1100 block Innis Drive, 4/6, 8:00 a.m. A City resident reported that an unknown person damaged a realty lock box. No entry was made into the property. No suspects or witnesses at this time.
