Library partners to offer free lunches for children and teens throughout the summer

From Central Rappahannock Regional Library

For the third year, Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) is partnering with Fredericksburg City Public Schools, the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, and the Heartwood Center to bring free meals to area youth. Meals are available throughout the summer at Fredericksburg Branch in downtown Fredericksburg, at Howell Branch in southern Stafford County, and at Salem Church Branch in Spotsylvania County.
MondayFriday, June 25 – August 17 except July 4, 12:00-12:45 p.m.
For kids and teens ages 18 and under. In partnership with Fredericksburg City Public Schools Mobile Cafe.
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, June 20 – August 9, 11:30 a.m.1:00 p.m., except July 4, 5, and 24.
For kids and teens ages 18 and under. In partnership with Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank, Kids on the Go.
Saturdays, June 23 – August 25, 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Food bags provided to all local children who qualify for free and reduced lunch when accompanied by an adult. In partnership with The Heartwood Center. Call 540-788-9838 for more information and registration details.
