From the King George Sheriff’s Office:
A search warrant was executed earlier this week on a residence in King George leading to an arrest and the seizure of a large quantity of child pornography. A tip provided to the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force was forwarded to KGSO resulting in an investigation. Detectives executed the search warrant on the residence of 65 year old Gregory Hartwig of King George. During the search, detectives seized an extensive amount of computer equipment and printed photographs containing sexually explicit images of pre-pubescent children. Hartwig was arrested and charged with 4 counts of Felony Reproduction of Child Pornography. He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail under no bond. The investigation is continuing and more charges may be pending.
