Do you know the only mammal that can sustain flight? It’s the bat.

Join Friends of the Rappahannock at Wild Birds Unlimited, 1937 Carl D. Silver Pkwy., on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, for bat talks and fun.

Friends of the Rappahannock’s Field Trip Coordinator Taylor McConnell will talk about bat needs and their ecological role. Madison Ryan, a certified Virginia Master Naturalist, will talk about their importance, and what is threatening their survival. Taylor’s talk begins at 1 p.m., and Madison’s at 3 p.m.
