The week ahead in Fredericksburg, August 11 – 15, 2014.

MONDAY, Aug. 11

Economic Development Authority regular meeting, 8:30 – 11 a.m. at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  Read the agenda online.

Architectural Review Board meeting, 7:30 – 9 p.m. at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  Read the agenda online.

Music on the Steps presents Limon y Cesar with their unique style of Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz, 7 – 8 p.m. at Central Rappahannock Library Headquarters Branch, 1201 Caroline St., Free.

TUESDAY, Aug. 12

Fredericksburg City Council meets 5:30 – 7  p.m. in work session and 7:30 – 10 p.m. in regular session at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  The work session agenda and regular session agenda are online.

WEDNESDAY, Aug. 13

The Fredericksburg Planning Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at the parking lot of 1621 Jefferson Davis Hwy. for a site visit of the the Silver Companies LLC requested ‘Cowan Crossing Residential,’ consisting of six single family homes and 62 townhomes.

THURSDAY, Aug. 14

Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours sponsored by
Richmond International Raceway and ValleyCrest Landscape, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at 5121 Park Dr., Fredericksburg.

FRIDAY, Aug. 15

Business 101 “Customer Service,” presented by The UMW Center for Economic Development, the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the UMW College of Business, 8 – 10 a.m. at the chamber office, 2300 Fall Hill Avenue, Suite 240, Fredericksburg.  Cost is $15/session, $150 full year package.

FredXchange presents Open Coffee, 8 – 9:30 a.m.  at 1514 College Ave. Free.
