Friends of the Rappahannock Annual Meeting

Friends of the Rappahannock (FOR) will host a pot luck dinner and their annual meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 18, at the FOR Office, 3219 Fall Hill Ave., in Fredericksburg.

Whitewater adventure Brent Hunsinger will share stories from his Rappahannock River Odyssey adventures. Hunsinger paddled the Rappahannock River from the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Chesapeake Bay, a distance of nearly 170 miles. His Rappahannock River Odyssey took nearly two weeks, and raised money for environmental awareness and protection.

FOR staff will present an update on projects and initiatives.
