Here we go … again.

The Fredericksburg region — including the counties of Spotsylvania, Stafford and King George — could see five to eight inches of snow accumulate between 5 p.m. Sunday through Monday afternoon.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning.  A mix of rain and snow will develop late Sunday afternoon transitioning to all snow early Sunday evening, the NWS said.

Snow will continue overnight through early afternoon Monday.  The heaviest period of snow is expected after midnight and through the early morning hours.

Temperatures overnight will drop into the low 20s.  Monday’s high is expected in the lower 30s.
