University of Mary Washington President Richard V. Hurley and Germanna Community College President David Sam will sign transfer and co-enrollment agreements between the two institutions to establish multiple pathways for nursing students to earn their nursing degrees.

“The agreements, in partnership with Mary Washington Healthcare, will help provide a higher level of nursing education in the community and augment healthcare services in the region,” said Marty Morrison, director of UMW Media and Public Relations.

The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 11, in the lobby of North Building at the University of Mary Washington’s Stafford Campus, 121 University Blvd. in Stafford.
