Teens now have their own space on the second floor of Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s Headquarters Library in downtown Fredericksburg.

“We’re so happy to be able to provide teens with a space that is their very own, where they can feel comfortable and welcome to hang out anytime the library is open,” said Teresa Cain, Youth Services department head at Headquarters Library.

Teens are invited to a pizza party from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2017, to celebrate the opening of Teen Space.

In Teen Space, teens can check out the 15 Chromebooks available for use anywhere on the second floor. Teens also have access to an XBox One, with games including Halo 5: Guardians, LEGO Jurassic World, UFC 2 Deluxe Edition, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and NBA 2K16.

Teen Space is open during normal Headquarters Library hours:
9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday
9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday
1 – 5:30 p.m. Sunday
