10th Annual Polar Bear Plunge February 4 in Fredericksburg

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Warrior Foundation will hold their 10th annual Polar Bear Plunge in Fredericksburg on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017.

The event takes place at City Dock, 207 Sophia St. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., with the plunge taking place at 11 a.m.

Participants plunge into the frigid waters of the Rappahannock River, raising money to support the EOD Warrior Foundation mission of helping EOD warriors and their families.

Early registration is $25; registration after January 10 is $35. Early registrants receive a commemorative shirt.

This year’s costume contest will present awards for best male, female, group, most patriotic, funniest, and crowd favorite.
