by | Oct 20, 2014 | Restaurants & Food

Rappahannock Health District staff inspect food service facilities to protect the health of all customers. The following five Fredericksburg restaurants were inspected October 2- 3, 2014. For violation details, please see the RAHD Restaurant Inspections website.

Soul Appetit, 1259 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. – 2 critical and 7 non-critical violations.

Ristorante Renato, 422 William St. – 2 critical and 1 non-critical violation.

Hibachi Buffet, 1901 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. – 2 critical and 0 non-critical violations.

Au Bon Pain Cafe at Mary Washington Hospital, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd. – 0 critical and 0 non-critical violations.

Kybecca Wine Bar & Shop, 402 William St. – 0 critical and 0 non-critical violations.

“Deficiencies are typically classified as either critical, posing a direct or immediate threat to the safety of the food being served, or non-critical, representing a failure of cleaning or maintenance,” RAHD said. “Ideally, an operation would have no critical violations, or none which are not corrected immediately and not repeated. In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations.”
