Fredericksburg Hiring: Manager of Public Facilities
“This full time position plans and manages all logistical, financial and operational functions associated with the operation and maintenance of the City’s Public Facilities. The position directs the services of the Public Facilities Divisions through two subordinate supervisors who manage building maintenance and renovation functions. The position serves as project manager for remodeling and construction projects associated with the Division.
“Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field, a Master’s is a plus, supplemented by 6 – 9 years of experience managing operations, employees, and building and facility resources, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Excellent people skills and project management experience desired. Training in one or more building trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) is also a plus. Requires a valid driver’s license. Background check and driving record check required.
