Counterfeit Bills Used at Local Restaurants

Fredericksburg Police Department crime report for December 9, 2014.

COUNTERFEITING:
Noodles and Company, 1212 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/8 8:00 p.m. The manager reported that a black male with a tattoo on his neck and a large gap between his front teeth passed a counterfeit $50 bill at the business. The investigation is ongoing.

Jimmy John’s, 1291 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/8 8:35 p.m. A manager reported that a black male passed a counterfeit bill at the business. The description of the suspect matches the suspect described at Noodles and Company. The investigation is ongoing.

LARCENY:
Woodbridge and Coleman, 710 Princess Anne St, 12/5 – 12/8 8:45 a.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole a sign from the side of the building. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

ARRESTS:
Dwight Maynard, 38, of Manassas was arrested on charges of shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule I narcotic, and possession of precursor items used in the production of methamphetamine.

James Kiger, 45, of Locust Grove was arrested on a charge of felony concealment.

Irvin Johnson, 42, of Locust Grove was arrested on a warrant from Orange County charging him with failure to appear in court.

Dawn Zimmerman, 54, of King George was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor shoplifting from Wegmans.

Tina Heath, 47, of Colonial Beach was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting from Wegmans.

Edward Washington, 47, of no fixed address was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
