City Council to Discuss Baseball Deal, Riverfront Park Design

City Council will meet in work session September 9 to review a final design for Riverfront Park.  They will end their regular meeting in a session closed to the public to discuss ongoing negotiations with Diamond Nation for a baseball complex.

Following is the schedule for all city meetings this week.

MONDAY, Sept. 8

Economic Development Authority Regular Meeting, 8:30 – 11 a.m. in room 218 at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  View the agenda online.

Architectural Review Board, 7:30 – 9 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  View the agenda online.

TUESDAY, Sept. 9

City Council meets in work session from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in room 218 at City Hall.  Elliott Rhodeside of Rhodeside & Harwell will present the final concept design plan for Riverfront Park.  

City Council meets in regular session beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall.  View the agenda online.  The last item on the agenda is a closed session meeting for discussion of the Diamond Nation baseball complex project.

WEDNESDAY, Sept. 10

Planning Commission Meeting from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  View the agenda online.
