Greek Festival, Rappahannock Paddle, USMC Historic Half

After a Friday filled with rain showers and possible thunderstorms, the weekend in Fredericksburg is expected to be partly sunny with day time highs near 72.  Take advantage of the nice weather to enjoy one of the many special events scheduled in the Fredericksburg area.

Historic Half Healthy Lifestyle Expo at the Fredericksburg Expo and Conference Center, 2371 Carl D. Silver Pkwy., Fredericksburg.

Saturday, May 17, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Speakers, vendors, race packet pick-up
Night Catfishing, at Motts Run Reservoir Recreation Area, 6600 River Rd., Fredericksburg.

$5 adult, $3 child.  Register online.

Anything Goes will be presented at Mountain View High School May 15, 16 and 17, 2014.

$10 general admission. Student and senior tickets are $8.
River Easement Paddle
Saturday, May 17 – Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Mott’s Run Landing, 5927 River Rd.
The day will end back at Friends of the Rappahannock around 4:30 p.m. The rain date is May 18.
The cost is $35 per person and $105 for a family; FOR members are $28 per person and $84 for a family.  FOR will provide all canoes and safety equipment.
