Rappahannock Area Health District (RAHD) officials inspected five Fredericksburg restaurants June 1 – 9, 2014.

Two restaurants came through with a clean bill of health — no critical violations.  They are:

Hibachi Buffet, 1901 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. – 0 critical violations

Noodles & Company, 1212 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. – 0 critical violations

Three other restaurants were also inspected:

Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar, 1638 Carl D. Silver Pkwy. – 1 critical violation

Giovanni’s, 203 Landsdowne Rd. – 1 critical violation

Hilton Garden Inn Fredericksburg, 1060 Hospitality Lane – 3 critical violations

A critical violation in restaurant inspections is one that “poses a direct or immediate threat to the safety of the food being served,” according to RAHD.  “In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” officials said.
