“In the Mist,” an exhibition of new works by Fredericksburg artist Cathy Herndon, is the featured show at Art First Gallery from Tuesday, April 29, through Sunday, June 1, 2014.
An opening reception will be held in conjunction with Fredericksburg First Friday from 6 – 9 p.m. on May 2.
Herndon is a much beloved former art educator in the Fredericksburg area who is extremely active in many area arts organizations. For “In the Mist,” she combined her love of art and her love of travel to focus on recent sojourns that include Vietnam, Singapore and Abu Dhabi.
Art First Gallery, located at 824 Caroline St., is open daily from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. In addition to the featured artist, you’ll also find art displayed by more than thirty other gallery members.
