Neibauer Presents ‘Seven Principles of Unconditional Responsibility’

By Susan Larson

Dr. Chris Neibauer will discuss his “Seven Principals of Unconditional Responsibility” at a September 16 event to benefit Startup Weekend Fredericksburg and Made in FredVa.

The longtime Fredericksburg-area resident built Neibauer Dental Care into a healthcare business with annual revenues exceeding $60 million.  His presentation will focus on entrepreneurship and what it takes to achieve success.

The event begins at 6 p.m. in Seacobeck Hall at the University of Mary Washington.  Tickets are $20 and are available through the events section of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce website.

“People often pay more than $1,000 to attend Neibauer’s seminars,” said Bill Freehling, Fredericksburg assistant director for Economic Development and Made in FredVA chairman.  “Dr. Neibauer teaches people how to design and live a life of health, happiness and success. People who have heard his message often say it helped turn their lives around.”

Neibauer is donating his time to allow FredXchange and the Next Generation of Business Leaders to raise money for upcoming events aimed at building an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Fredericksburg region.

Startup Weekend Fredericksburg, hosted by FredXchange, will be held September 26 – 28 at Germanna Community College in Spotsylvania County.  During the 54 hour weekend event, teams of entrepreneurs take business ideas from concept to reality.  This will be the third Startup Weekend in Fredericksburg.

Made in FredVA, patterned after ABC’s “Shark Tank,” will be held November 19.  The second-annual event will feature five finalists pitching their business ideas to three successful local entrepreneurs in pursuit of a significant cash prize toward startup expenses.
