Rappahannock River Raft Race

The Fredericksburg Jaycees will host their 38th annual Rappahannock River Raft Race on July 4, 2014.

The race begins at 11:30 a.m. at Falmouth Waterfront Park, 313 River Rd, Fredericksburg, and ends at Fredericksburg City Dock, 207 Sophia St.  Spectators may watch at beginning and end, and also view the rafts from Chatham Bridge, where Rt. 3 crosses the Rappahannock between Fredericksburg and Stafford County.

Rafts will be judged by a panel of local and state Jaycees.  Prizes will be awarded for

Fastest Down the River

Registration is $50 for a commercial business, $25 for a club or organization and $25 for individuals.   Bring the completed registration form and payment to Falmouth Waterfront Park at 8 a.m. July 4.  (Editor’s Note:  The application form and rules provided by the Fredericksburg Jaycees is dated for 2012.  We are trying to obtain a link to an undated form.)
