Rappahannock Area Health District (RAHD) officials recently inspected food preparation and storage in the following Fredericksburg restaurants.

Primavera Pizzeria & Grill, 600 William St., on Feb. 25 – 0 critical violations.
Allman’s Bar-B-Q, 1299 Jefferson Davis Hwy., on Feb. 24 – 2 critical violations.
The Olive Garden Italian Restaurant, 2811 Plank Rd., on Feb. 24 – 0 critical violations.
Firehouse Subs, 1420 Carl D. Silver Pkwy., on Feb. 21 – 3 critical violations.
Ledos – Fredericksburg Hospitality House, 2801 Plank Rd., on Feb. 20 – 2 critical violations.
Shannon’s Bar & Grill, 2801 Plank Rd., on Feb. 20 – 1 critical violation.
South Vietnam House, 1623 Carl D. Silver Pkwy., on Feb. 20 – 2 critical violations.
Dixie Bones BBQ Post, 1917 Plank Rd., on Feb. 19 – 2 critical violations.
J. Brian’s Tap Room, 200 Hanover St., on Feb. 19 – 1 critical violation.
Mary Washington Hospital, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd. #509, on Feb. 19 – 0 critical violations.
MWH Coffee Station, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd., on Feb. 19 –  0 critical violations.
Inn At Fredericksburg Square, 525 Caroline St., on Feb. 18 – 2 critical violations.
Hunan Garden, 209 William St., on Feb. 18 –  4 critical violations.
Burger King (Plank Road), 3052 Plank Rd., on Feb. 18 – 1 critical violation.

A “critical violation” is one that “poses a direct or immediate threat to the safety of the food being served.”

“In our experience, it is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations,” officials said on the Virginia Department of Health’s website.
