Theft
On 2/28/14, Deputy Spillman arrested Robert Chechele, 49 of Spotsylvania on 4 warrants for Credit Card Fraud from an incident stemming from Wawa, Plank Road.
On 2/28/14, Deputy Warren arrested Jessica Fox, 33 and Grace Rose, 44 of Spotsylvania for Shoplifting, Conspiracy and Possession of Marijuana in the Courtland Commons, pursuant to a larceny from Giant.
On 02/27/14, Sgt. Hammond arrested Matthew Eugene Jett, 28 from Spotsylvania in front of the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center for a Felony Shoplifting. Sgt. Hammond located the subject after he fled from Kohl’s loss prevention.
On 2/27/14, Senior Detective Chewning obtained 2 Felony warrants against Kurtwan Hunter, 26 of Fredericksburg, as a result of a joint effort with Fredericksburg City and the U. S. Secret Service. Kurtwan is accused of Felony Forging and Felony Uttering, stemming from an incident of counterfeit money being passed at Sheetz on Lafayette Blvd. in this jurisdiction.
On 2/26/14, Deputy Tavarez arrested Melissa Downham, 27 of Fredericksburg for Petit Larceny from Spencer Gifts.
Assault
On 3/1/14, Units responded to the 11900 block of Belfonte Road for reported Assault and Abduction. Ross Carter, 44 of Spotsylvania was later arrested and charged with Felony Abduction and Malicious Wounding.
On 2/29/14, Deputy Ryan Plunkett arrested Elisa Moore, 50 for Felony Assault and Possession of Cocaine, in the 10600 block of Leavells Rd.
On 2/27/14, Deputy Morris arrested Erica Mestey, 29 of Spotsylvania for Malicious Wounding on Olde Greenwich Circle.
On 2/25/14, Sgt. Belcher arrested Carleen Naybor-Lauer, 48 of Spotsylvania for Assault and Battery in the 8400 block of South Carolina Ct.
On 2/24/14, Deputy Coerper arrested Peggy Manning, 66 of Spotsylvania for Assault on Isle of Laurels Blvd.
DUI
On 3/1/14, Deputy Ridings arrested Paul Carver, 42 of Spotsylvania for DUI in the area of Snow Hill Drive/Courthouse Rd.
On 2/28/14, Deputy Griffith arrested Troy Robinson, 22 of Spotsylvania for DUI after a motor vehicle accident on Overview Dr.
On 2/26/14, Deputy Tavarez arrested Joseph Zovac, 47 of Locust Grove for D.U.I, Refusal, Eluding and Drinking While Driving. The incident began with a traffic stop in the area of Plank Rd. and Mclaws.
Narcotics
On 03/02/14, Sr. Deputy Hart released Cobihoshi Copper, 35 of Spotsylvania on a summons for possession Marijuana. This resulted from a traffic stop in the 5000 Blk.
On 2/29/14, Deputy Plunkett arrested Brien Hughes, 30 for Possession of Marijuana and Driving Suspended.
On 2/26/14, Sgt. Assur arrested John O’hara, 23 of Rockaway N.J., after a traffic stop in the area of Dewberry and Wilburn Dr. for Felony Possession of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, (4 lbs.).
On 2/26/14, Deputy Kelley arrested Ricardo Powell, 24 for Possession of Schedule I Substance; (Adderall). Deputy Kelley also arrested Jarrell Marshall, 22 for Possession of Marijuana. This was result of a traffic stop for Defective Equipment in the area of Southpoint Parkway.
On 2/26/14, Deputy Hart arrested Nicholas Margaros, 19 for Possession of Marijuana and Driving Suspended. This was a result of a traffic stop for Defective Equipment and Speeding. Margaros was released on a Summons.
On 2/24/14, Sr. Deputy Myrick released Dawson Burrell, 18 and Branden Hill, 20 of Spotsylvania on summonses for Possession of Marijuana on a traffic stop on Leavells Rd.
Arrests
On 2/29/14, Deputy Collins arrested a male subject, (Identity Unknown), for Drunk in Public. Deputy Collins responded to Albany St. for a 911 Hang Up that retransmitted to the area. He located the subject sitting in a vehicle.
