TUESDAY, July 8

City Council meets in regular session beginning at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  The agenda is available online.

WEDNESDAY, July 9

The Princess Anne Street Corridor Businesses and Property Owners Meeting, presented by the Fredericksburg Department of Economic Development and Tourism, will be held 8 – 9:15 a.m. in the Wakefield Room at the Inn at the Old Silk Mill, 1707 Princess Anne St.  Please RSVP to [email protected].

The Fredericksburg Planning Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 715 Princess Anne St.  The agenda is available online.

Always…Patsy Cline returns to the University of Mary Washington in Klein Theatre.   July 9 – 12, 16 – 19 and 23 – 26 at 7:30 p.m., July 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 2 p.m.; $40/general admission, $35/students, senior citizens, military, UMW alumni, $25 each/groups of 10 or more; (540) 654-1111.

THURSDAY, July 10

Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours will be held 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at The Clubs at Quantico and Crossroads Events Center, 3017 Russell Rd, Quantico.

Preschool Palette: Ish Drawings introduces children ages 2 – 5 to art and art museums through developmentally appropriate activities at Gari Melchers Home and Studio at Belmont, 224 Washington St., Falmouth; 10 a.m.; $8 per child; classes limited to 12 children; Reservations required at (540) 654-1851 or [email protected].

FRIDAY, July 11

FredXchange Open Coffee, 8 – 9:30 a.m. every Friday at The Center, 1514 College Ave., Fredericksburg. Coffee provided by Blackstone Coffee.

First Friday Art Walk 6 – 9 p.m. in downtown Fredericksburg.

Moonlight Paddle on the Rappahannock with Friends of the Rappahannock volunteer Michelle McGinley.  Minimum age is 12-years, and some paddling experience is helpful. Meet at 7:30 p.m. at Old Mill Park, 2410 Caroline St, Fredericksburg. The backup date is Saturday, July 12.  Cost is $35 individual or $105 family ($28/$84 for FOR members).  Pre-register at www.riverfriends.org
