Olde Towne Butcher Offers Sausage Making Classes

Olde Towne Butcher is offering sausage making classes at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, and Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015.

Participants get hands on experience cutting the meat, mixing the spices, using the grinder, preparing the meat, stuffing the casings and linking the sausages. They also learn about food safety and knife handling.

Visit the shop at 401 William St. in downtown Fredericksburg to register. You must prepay the $45 registration fee to hold your space.

Olde Towne Butcher is a traditional butcher shop providing personal service and offering finest quality beef, pork, chicken and lamb cut to order, as well as fresh sausages made on the premises.
