Ernest Green Speaks at UMW

A member of the Little Rock Nine — the black students who were the first to attend classes at Little Rock Central High School in Arkansas in 1957 — spoke on Wednesday night at the University of Mary Washington. Ernest Green recalled the Civil Rights era. He also spoke about issues today; about the need, he said, to set aside slogans and hashtags and work for change.
