Snow Closings and Cancellations for February 17

Winter weather closings and cancellations in the Fredericksburg area for Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015.

Caroline County Public Schools – closed. Twelve-month employees are on Code Orange.

Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) branches will be closed. Many services are available online, using your CRRL library card.

Federal government offices in Washington D.C. — closed on February 17. Emergency and telework-ready employees required to work must follow their agency’s policies, including written telework agreements.

FRED Transit – closed. No bus service.

Fredericksburg Academy – closed.

Fredericksburg City Offices and City Courts – closed. Essential personnel must report as directed by supervisor.

Fredericksburg City Public Schools – closed. Code Red for 12-month employees.

Germanna Community College – closed.

King George Public Schools – closed. Twelve-month employees, code 1.

MCB Quantico is closed for normal operation. Only emergency and essential personnel are to report to work Feb. 17.

Spotsylvania County Public Schools – closed. Twelve-month employees are Code 0.

Stafford County Courts – closed. This includes the General District Court, Circuit Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Stafford County Government offices and departments – closed. The Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for today has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015.

Stafford County Public Schools – closed. Employees are Code 1.

University of Mary Washington – closed.

Virginia Railway Express (VRE) service – cancelled for Tuesday, Feb. 17.
