Lee Russell is retiring, but he’s leaving his traditional full-service butcher shop at 401 William St. in new hands.

Customers this week found beer and wine sales temporarily suspended, as the new owner awaits ABC approval. Business cards by the cash register already bear his name: J. Keith Lebor.

Lebor is from Leesburg, Va., and previously worked in commercial real estate. He purchased the business for an undisclosed amount.

Russell plans to spend the next six months working with Lebor in transitioning Olde Towne Butcher to new ownership.
