Severe Weather, Flash Floods Possible June 27

Saturday will be a wash in the Fredericksburg region, with rain predicted for the entire day.

There is an “enhanced risk” of severe thunderstorms Saturday afternoon and evening throughout the Fredericksburg region, according to the National Weather Service. Threats include damaging winds, heavy rain and isolated tornadoes.

A flesh flood watch is also in effect for the region, through 2 a.m. Sunday, June 28, 2015. If you see standing water, “Turn Around, Don’t Drown.”

Sunday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 82.
