See Super-Powered Birds of Prey at the Library

Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) is hosting “Super-Powered Birds of Prey” July 20 – 23 at several branches.

The Wildlife Center of Virginia is bringing species of birds that live in our region along the Rappahannock River, our roads and in many area backyards. “Children in grades Kindergarten – 6 will be fascinated as they learn about these magnificent predators,” said CRRL Director of Youth Services Rebecca Purdy.

The free programs will be held at the following locations:

“While they’re at the library, it’s not too late for children to sign up for “Every Hero Has a Story”, this year’s summer reading,” Purdy said. “It’s free to join this incentive based program that allows children to read whatever they want all summer long and earn prizes. We also have clubs for teens and adults.”
