We asked, you answered. The Fredericksburg-area eatery serving the best hot dog is Mason-Dixon Cafe & Baking Company, according to our National Hot Dog Day 2015 readers’ survey. The restaurant, located at 2100 Princess Anne St. in Fredericksburg, features a selection of unique hot dogs.
“Mason-Dixon Cafe’s “West Virginia Hot Dog” is the absolute best,” said Diane M. on Facebook.
Sam G. said Mason-Dixon’s bacon-wrapped hot dog with chili and slaw is the “best dang dog in the state!”
The All-American dog at Mason-Dixon is Nicole G’s favorite.
Mason-Dixon Cafe & Baking Company receives a “Fredericksburg Today Readers’ Pick Best Hot Dog 2015” certificate.
The second place restaurant is The Recreation Center. Referred to by some locals as The Pool Room, it’s located at 213 William St., in downtown Fredericksburg.
Sonic Drive-In and Five Guys also placed.
