Dog Days of Summer at The National Museum of the Marine Corps
Saturday, Aug. 22, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
National Museum of the Marine Corps, 18900 Jefferson Davis Hwy., Triangle, Va.
Bring your family to the museum to see military working dogs, birds of prey and various pet adoption agencies with animals looking for a home.

Mary Washington Walking Tour and Wreath Laying
Saturday, Aug. 22, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Washington Heritage Museums is honoring the life of Mary Washington, mother of George, on the anniversary of her death in August 1789. Meet at St. George’s Church, 905 Princess Anne St., and walk to the Mary Washington Monument at 1500 Washington Ave., stopping to tour Mary Washington’s home along the way.

4th Annual Virginia Craft Brewers Fest
Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, beginning at 2 p.m.
Devils Backbone Basecamp Brewpub & Meadows, 50 Northwind Lane, Lexington, Va.
More than 60 Virginia craft brewers serving tastings, music by Elby Brass, food trucks to satisfy every craving and games for all ages.

Lake Anna Sunset Concert Series
Saturday, Aug. 22, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Lake Anna Point Marina, 13703 Anna Point Lane, Mineral, Va.
Classic and southern rock by The Cyberbillies and Earl Hart
Live music and the great views of Lake Anna’s famed sunsets from Anna Point Marina’s waterside event pavilion. Food, wine and beer are available for purchase. Come by boat or land. Fun for the whole family.

Anthem Moonlight Ride
Saturday, Aug. 22, 7 – 11 p.m.
Sports Backers Stadium, 100 Avenue of Champions, Richmond
With a Full Moon (15-mile) course and a Half Moon (8-mile) option, Moonlight Ride feature well-stocked rest stops on Monument Avenue and in Bryan Park. Upon finishing your ride back at Sports Backers Stadium, celebrate at the Agee’s Post-Ride Party with live music. Enjoy a complimentary slice of pizza, ice cream and soft drink or Sierra Nevada beer (bring your ID) while you enjoy the concert. Dress up as your favorite character or decorate your bike with tacky lights. Prizes awarded.
Registration ranges from $10 – $50.
