First Friday History Trivia Nights

James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library is hosting a second summer of First Friday History Trivia Nights in 2015.

You’re invited to “match wits with friends and family in history trivia team competitions while enjoying light refreshments, a cash bar, 50/50 raffle, and relaxing music.” In addition, the museum galleries will be open free of charge.

The free monthly competitions are from 6 to 8 p.m. in the James Monroe Museum Garden, 908 Charles St., in downtown Fredericksburg.

The dates and local celebrity quizmasters are:

July 3 – James Monroe (aka Jay Harrison)
August 7 – Gaye Adegbalola, musician and social activist
September 4 – Dee Daniels, B101.5 FM radio host
October 2 – Cedric Rucker, University of Mary Washington Associate Vice President and Dean of Student Life
