River Road, Harrell Road Closed in Stafford

River Road (Route 607) and Harrell Road (Route 623) in Stafford County were closed to through traffic as of Thursday afternoon, Oct. 1, 2015, due to flooding, the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) reported.

Both roads will remain closed over the weekend.

The roads have been closed for motorist safety, and barricades have been placed to prevent traffic from traveling on them, VDOT said.
