Small Earthquake Centered 60 Miles Southwest of Mineral

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a magnitude 2.6 earthquake east of Buckingham, Va., at 6:00:52 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015. (Seismograph recording pictured.)

Buckingham is about 60 miles southwest of Mineral, Va., the epicenter of the magnitude 5.8 earthquake that occurred in August 2011.
