Extended holiday parking in downtown Fredericksburg begins November 14 and continues through December 31, 2015.

Parking will be permitted for four hours in on-street parking spaces marked for two hour parking.

The four-hour restriction applies 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. On street parking during other periods is not time restricted.

The annual extended parking, compliments of the City of Fredericksburg and Fredericksburg Main Street, is to encourage holiday shopping and dining.

Additional parking is available in three free lots along Sophia Street (in the 700 block between Charlotte and Hanover Streets; in the 800 – 900 block at the end of George Street; and in the 1000 block, next to the Happy Clam restaurant) and in the Sophia Street paid parking garage, with the entrance located on Wolfe Street.
