Startup Weekend Fredericksburg Veterans Edition got underway Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, with local entrepreneurs pitching their business ideas to attendees who will serve as team members, coaches and mentors through the weekend.

Annette Zinky, president and CEO of Northern Arizona Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology (NACET) and a self-described “obsessive supporter of entrepreneurs,” is facilitator for the event.

Final presentations will be made at 5 p.m. Sunday, with a panel of five judges awarding top prize. Audience members will also vote on a crowd favorite. Tickets for the finale are $25, and may be purchased at the door. The presentations will be made at Germanna Community College Center for Workforce and Community Education, 10000 Germanna Point Dr. Fredericksburg.

FredXchange, Germanna Community College and Germanna Community College Center for Workforce and Community Education organize startup Weekend Fredericksburg.
