“Coach Bumbrey is on paid administrative leave indefinitely,” said John Russ, director of Human Resources for Fredericksburg City Public Schools, in an email to Fredericksburg.Today. “This is a personnel matter that I can’t discuss further. Thank you for your understanding.”

James Monroe High School boys basketball coach Julian Bumbrey has been placed paid administrative leave.
School Principal Dr. Taneshia H. Rachal said she could not say when this occurred, why or when parents would be notified. “[Your] questions are in reference to a personnel matter that I cannot discuss,” she said.
She directed us to contact John Russ, director of Human Resources for Fredericksburg City Public Schools.
