Dr. Stacie Buck Earns Board Certifications
Dr. Stacie Buck, Division Chair for the Department of Podiatry at Mary Washington Hospital, was recently board certified in both Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She is now a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Buck is a graduate of University of Michigan Ann Arbor and graduated as co-valedictorian from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.

Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg Ranks Among Largest Practices in U.S.
Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg (RAF) has been recognized as one of the 100 largest privately owned radiology practices in the U.S. for the second consecutive year by Radiology Business Journal. Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg is the largest provider of medical imaging services in the Fredericksburg, Virginia, region, including Spotsylvania and Stafford counties.

JBR Construction & Consulting Named Finalist for Contractor of the Year Award
Equipment World Magazine selected JBR Construction & Consulting as one of 12 national finalists for its prestigious “Contractor of the Year” Award. Nominees must generate between $3 million and $15 million in annual revenues, have at least 10 years of construction company ownership experience, have a proven, excellent safety record, and represent the construction industry in a positive way.
JBR Construction and Consulting is owned by Jack Bailey, III, and is headquartered in Stafford County. The winner will be announced in March, 2016.

Civil War Trust Purchases Land at Cedar Creek
The Civil War Trust (CWT) received more than the $12,500 donations needed for the $25,000 purchase of a tract at Cedar Creek Battlefield in Back Creek, Virginia. The donations were matched dollar-for-dollar by a generous donor, CWT said. “This is a tremendous accomplishment. You have helped give the National Park Service its first real opportunity to make a significant section of the battlefield accessible to the public.”

Workforce NOW Economic Development Forum
The economic development directors from Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline and King George will speak at the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce Workforce NOW Economic Development Forum from 8:30 – 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015. The event will be held at Salem Church Library, 2607 Salem Church Rd., in Fredericksburg. Cost is $20 for chamber members and $35 for the general public. Register online or add $2 to pay at the door.
