River Rock Outfitter officially opened their doors November 7, with a ribbon cutting outside the new store at 915 Sophia St.

The specialty outdoor retailer offers equipment and apparel for outdoor pursuits, including hiking, paddling and rock climbing. “We know the product and use what we carry; we will not sell you anything that we personally do not use for our own outdoor adventures,” the owners said on the store’s website.

Pictured left to right are storeowners Connor Peterson, Erin Peterson with Corinne, April Peterson and Keith Peterson. Also pictured is April’s mother, Patti Bowman.

River Rock Outfitter is open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 12 – 6 p.m. on Sunday. The store is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
