“Downton Abbey” Comes to Virginia

PBS’s Emmy-winning “Downton Abbey” premieres its sixth and final season at 9 p.m. EST on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. There will be nine episodes.

A selection of Downton costumes are on display at the Virginia Historical Society through Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016. Dressing Downton: Changing Fashion for Changing Times showcases some 40 period costumes and jewelry from the hit series.

The traveling exhibit then moves to Chicago, Cincinatti, South Bend, Anaheim, Nashville and St. Augustine.

The Virginia Historical Society, located at 428 N Boulevard in Richmond, is open 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily. Admission and parking are free to the museum. Admission to Dressing Downton is $20 a person.
