Fredericksburg Sports and Fitness Supervisor Honored at State Conference

Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities Sports and Fitness Supervisor Justin Bullock was honored as Outstanding New Professional at the 60th Annual Conference of the Virginia Recreation and Park Society.

“Justin exhibits diligence, determination, dependability and an immense desire to learn,” Parks and Rec staff said in a press release. “The programs that he is responsible for are carried out with precision, and the community and participant have been drawn to his friendly and outgoing personality.”

Bullock is a 2010 graduate of Old Dominion University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Recreation and Tourism Studies with a minor in Sports Management. Before joining the Fredericksburg staff in 2012, Bullock worked for Louisa County Parks and Recreation, Dinwiddie County Parks and Recreation and Chesterfield Parks and Recreation.
