by | Jan 18, 2016 | Schools & Education

The Engineering For Kids Foundation in partnership with Stafford County Economic Development are hosting the Stafford Science and Engineering Festival on Saturday, April 23, 2016.

The event will feature hands-on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities and contests for children in grades K – 8. There will also be a LEGO building contest.

Event organizers are seeking corporate sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, and volunteers. “We are encouraging exhibitors to showcase the careers within their organizations to get children excited about pursuing a degree and career in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics,” the foundation said. Visit www.staffordsciencefest.org for more information.

The free festival will be held from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Stafford Regional Airport, 75 Aviation Way, Fredericksburg.
