Canstruction® 2016

Teams from Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, Caroline, Locust Grove and King George will build sculptures out of canned goods depicting how to make a difference in the lives of the hungry in our community. Judging for the“People’s Choice Award” will be open to the public through the donation of $1 or one canned good per vote on Saturday and Sunday, with the official judging for all other categories taking place at 4:30 p.m. Monday in Center Court. All proceeds benefit the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank.

Robert E. Lee Birthday Commemoration

A commemoration of General Robert E. Lee’s 209th birthday, including self-guided house tours, a scavenger hunt activity for kids and free refreshments. Lee was commander of the Confederate army during the American Civil War (1861-1865).
