San Francisco 49ers wide receiver and Stafford High School graduate Torrey Smith plans a summer 2016 opening of a Sky Zone Trampoline Park franchise in Fredericksburg.

The 20,000-square-foot business at 1410 Central Park Blvd. will feature open jumping, basketball, dodge ball and a trampoline-based aerobics class.

The first Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park opened in 2004 — then known as SkyMania Fun Center in Las Vegas. There are now more than 100 parks in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Australia and Saudi Arabia.

Husband-and-wife team Sebastien and Michaël Vorbe have franchised Rebounderz for the Fredericksburg region. They also hope to open their trampoline park by summer 2016. It will be located at 4250 Plank Rd. in Fredericksburg.

The Fredericksburg Rebounderz Indoor Trampoline Arena will be the nation’s 13th Rebounderz location.
