Surprise, it’s Snowing!

It wasn’t in the forecast, but there it came. Snow in parts of the Fredericksburg area Tuesday evening, February 9, 2016.

“Here are some photos from the Spotsy Courthouse area,” wrote Kimberley Merritt in an email.

“Happening now in Fox Point,” wrote James Roberson on Twitter.

The snow showers are supposed to end by 1 a.m. The rest of the early morning hours will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. “Total nighttime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible,” the National Weather Service said.

Partly sunny, with a high near 41 expected Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016.
