Weather Related Delays and Cancellations February 15

This alphabetical list of closings, delays and cancellations was last updated at 8:15 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15, 2016.

Archaeology Day at Ferry Farm, George Washington’s boyhood home, is cancelled due to the snow.

Central Rappahannock Regional Library is closed for the Presidents Day holiday.

FRED Transit will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15, due to the predicted wintry weather.

Fredericksburg City Offices are closed for Presidents Day. Fredericksburg’s Belman Road Convenience Center is closed February 15, due to the snow.

Gari Melcher’s Home and Studio at Belmont is closed due to weather.

Germanna Community College locations are closed February 15, due to the snow.

Updated Ron Rosner Family YMCA is closed on February 15. This is a change from an earlier late opening announcement.

St. George’s Episcopal Church is closed, with all day and evening activities cancelled. “We are trying to find out if we have enough volunteers who can get here safely to run our Community Dinner, and if so, we’ll put that back on the calendar. I’ll keep you posted.”

Stafford County Public Schools are closed Monday, Feb. 15, for the Presidents Day Holiday. Due to the snow accumulation all buildings are closed and all activities are cancelled.

Stafford County Visitors Center at Belmont is closed.

Spotsylvania Government Offices and all Convenience Centers are closed for the holiday. The Livingston Landfill — originally scheduled to be open — will be closed due to the weather.

Spotsylvania County Public Schools will be closed, Monday, Feb. 15, 2016, due to the forecasted winter weather. All 12-month employees are Code 0.

Stafford County offices, departments and the courts are closed Monday, Feb. 15, for the Presidents Day holiday. Due to impending weather, all Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, including the Courthouse Community Center, Woodlands Pool, and the Gymnastics Center, will be closed as well. All activities are canceled. The landfill will be closed also.

University of Mary Washington is closed.

Washington Heritage Museum’s Mary Washington House, Hugh Mercer Apothecary and Rising Sun Tavern are closed due to the snow.
